This policy covers how MySportResume treats personal and sport related information that they collect and receive as a result of your use of the MySportResume system. Sport related information is any information entered or linked into the system such as videos, photos, article links and other sport related information. This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that MySportResume does not own or control or to people that MySportResume does not employ or manage.
MySportResume collects personal information when you register with MySportResume or when you use their system. When you register we ask for information such as your name, mailing address, email address and phone number. When you register with MySportResume and sign in to our system, you are not anonymous to us. MySportResume also collects personal and sport related information. MySportResume automatically receives and records information from your computer and browser, including your IP address, MySportResume cookie information, software and hardware attributes, and the page you request. MySportResume uses information for the following general purposes: to customize the content you see, improve our services, contact you, conduct research, and provide reporting for internal reasons.

All information entered into the system is done so on a non-confidential basis and any information submitted to college coaches will also be done so on a non-confidential basis.
Under no circumstance will MySportResume rent, sell, or share personal information about our users with other people, companies or organizations. We are a nonprofit organization and we do not generate revenue or profit in the form of user fees, resume / webpage advertisements or selling data. Our growth and development will be funded through corporate and foundation support.
MySportResume may set and access MySportResume cookies on your computer. MySportResume uses web beacons to access MySportResume cookies inside and outside our network of web sites and in connection with MySportResume’s products and services.
You can edit your MySportResume Account Information, including your account profile and account settings, at any time. Furthermore, you can access and edit sport related information entered by you. We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to the MySportResume service, such as service announcements, administrative messages and a MySportResume newsletter, that are considered part of your MySportResume account, without offering you the opportunity to opt out of receiving them. You can terminate or delete your MySportResume account by contacting MySportResume.
MySportResume may update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your MySportResume account or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
